The much awaited Samsung Galaxy Note 2 was finally unveiled on August 29 at Europe's biggest electronics show IFA 2012.
Although Samsung hasn't mentioned anything about the price or carrier availability of the phone, a placard placed by Vodafone may have revealed the price of Samsung Galaxy Note 2. According to the website TheDroidGuy.com, the information on the placard claims that Galaxy Note 2 will cost 639 euros on Vodafone, which is roughly $800 in the USA and Rs.. 45,000 in India.
However, what Samsung did officially announce at IFA 2012 is that Galaxy Note 2 comes with a new stylus pen, due to which you don't have to touch the screen anymore. The technology is called Air View, which works even if you just hover the s-pen over the screen.
The phablet's screen size is 5.5 inches and has an AMOLED display. As the rumors had suggested, Galaxy Note 2 has a 1.6GHz quad-core CPU, 3,100 mAh battery, 2GB RAM, 8MP rear camera and 1.3MP front camera, and 16/32GB memory.
The Galaxy Note 2 is slimmer and bigger than its predecessor and works on the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. The phablet is 9.4mm thin and weighs only 180g.

The smartphone, according to Samsung, will be available in stores from October and comes in Marble White and Titanium Grey colors.
Galaxy Note 2 accessories will include include flip cover, pouch, desktop dock, Bluetooth, s-pen and vehicle dock.
