Pantel Technologies takes a step in the social sector co-delivers Sani Tool, an application focused exclusively on hygiene in Rural India

Pantel Technologies, the pioneer and innovator in devising latest technology tablet PC(s) under the brand name of Penta T-Pad(s) has entered the social arena through abusiness intelligence application named Sani Tool, that has been developed by Grameenmobia Social Enterprise and pre-installed on the Penta T-pad Tablet PC. It is a coming together of an affordable technology platform provider, an application developer and a host of NGO(s) who stand to benefit from.

The Sani Tool application is installed on the Penta T-pad tablet PC(s) and helps in judging the efficiency of the tasks undertaken by NGOs. More than 800Mn Indians in Rural & Urban India do not have access to basic sanitation and hygiene facilities; this creates serious issues of health affecting the overall productivity of the population. The Sani Tool application on the Penta T-Pad tablet PC provides real-time access to the field agents to assess the sanitation situation of rural households, propose solution and monitor the work done by the field force of various NGO(s) and allows for optimum utilization of resources for maximum impact.

The Sani Tool has also been adopted by the World Toilet Organization which is a global non-profit organization committed to improving sanitation conditions for people globally through various initiatives.
