Fujitsu Rules Virtualization World with PRIMERGY Server Benchmark

Saturday, 18 August 2012

A new benchmark published confirms that Fujitsu rules the virtualization world in high-performance four-socket servers. Fujitsu retains the crown as the number one performer in the four-processor match pair class of the server independent VMmark benchmark with fresh results from the PRIMERGY RX500 S7. The latest results extend Fujitsu’s dominance of VMmark results for four-socket servers in a matched pair configuration, with PRIMERGY even outperforming HP’s recently-published result for its ProLiant DL560 Gen8 server.

The new best-in-class result underlines that customers can depend on Fujitsu PRIMERGY servers, including the recently-introduced PRIMERGY RX500 S7 rack model, for top performance for market-leading virtualization and cloud platforms. The new VMmark record was set by coupling the PRIMERGY server with Fujitsu’s proven ETERNUS DX storage.
