Cooler Master announces the launch of its new series of power supplies (SMPS) – the Thunder Series. Designed ground up for basic and mainstream computers, they are highly-efficient, reliable and powerful. The Thunder series comprises of three models 450W, 500W and 600W and are a great choice for systems that need clean and stable power at a reasonable price.

Taking into consideration the wide voltage fluctuation in India, the Thunder series PSUs can withstand voltage fluctuations between 180~264VAC. Similarly, the Dual-layer EMI filter takes care of any stray interference and the beefed up input capacitors produce holding times of >14ms under full load. Moreover, we have integrated protection circuits for safe guarding your PC against electrical hazards such as Over Voltage, Over Power, Over Current and Short Circuits. All these safe guarding features leads to an exceptional reliability and an MTBF of at least 1, 00,000 hours!!

Complaint with ATX 12V v2.3 standard and incorporating 0.99 Active Power Factor Correction (APFC) the Thunder series provides clean and stable power. Under typical loading conditions, these power supplies are designed to provide up to 85% efficiency and they meet Energy Star and Blue Angel requirements.

The Thunder series sport dual +12V rails to supply enough juice to power the most demanding PC systems and tackle heavy loading conditions. The smart and silent 120mm fan delivers exceptional airflow and low noise by adapting to the varying temperatures. And the peripherals connectors are updated to support the latest and cutting edge hardware.
